The inventor of the world wide web has warned that the freedom of the internet is under threat by governments and corporations interested in controlling the web.
The interesting part is that TBL now calls for protection from the threat of governments AND corporations.

Just because one can gain credit for being an imperative part in the internet’s constitution, does not give that one the entitlement to draft the Internet’s Constitution.
It is interesting that this “Magna Carta” would herald freedom from government access to one’s data as “privacy” but that same freedom from media or corporate access to data as “censorship”. Between the devil we elected and the devil we consume, I think I prefer being spied on by the former.
