Awesome Book, Awesome Review - 'What the Dog Saw →
Awesome! A book review by the Steven Pinker. Have you ever wondered why there are so many kinds of mustard but only one kind of ketchup? Or what Cézanne did before painting his first significant works in his 50s?

Dropbox Mac Users? Vote for Mac resource fork... →
The Dropbox team did an interesting thing. Their application is a hit, and they don’t know what to develop next. Thus, a vote… opened to their users. Neat. And as a Mac user, I would very much enjoy a better support for Mac files within Dropbox. So if you’re also a Dropbox Mac user… go vote! Think Hope! Yes we can!

If the U.S. can sue Polanski, C.I.A. and U.S. army victims should be allowed to sue the U.S. when it’s at least conceivable that they committed crimes of war, crimes against humanity, etc. Good luck for the years to come. The Bush legacy will be a hard burden.

A quick glance at Google Revenue Q3 2009 →
People always talk about the way internet companies make their money, but they rarely look at the numbers. As for Google, I was surprised by the following facts: +7% growth from Q3 2008, despite the crisis Google Sites: 67% Adsense: 30% (only…) Paying products: nothing on Pro Gmail, etc. Can we safely understand that it amounts to 3%? International: Google is growing but more...
